The Schallmauer (german for sound barrier) is a homage to the fascinating watches worn by pilots in the 50s and 60s of the last century.
With its 42.5mm stainless steel case, the soft oiled leather strap and the ice blue chronograph dial, the Schallmauer seamlessly continues the exciting history of aviation tradition. And it also rewrites it.
The surface of the case is finished by hand by selected specialists, making the double-contoured edges on the lugs particularly prominent. The dial of the Schallmauer Polar is our first one with a sunray effect and is characterised by its clear numbers and the central arrangement of its large totalisers, which ensures optimum readability. 12 ball indexes round off the dial in style. The contrasting red date gives the dial, the face of the watch, a special character. This striking impression is emphasized by the straight, clear hands and ensures perfect orientation - even at night. The Japanese NEMOTO finish guarantees enormous luminescence.
The hand-dyed leather with its rich wax feel on the surface comes from the traditional Chicago-based company HORWEEN. Manufactured using proven techniques and formulas developed almost 100 years ago.
In our North German interpreted classic the best from all worlds comes together.
